Today I had a studio visit with John Monti. He had some really great comments to say about the recent works I've been making in my studio. It was a refreshing conversation - the first I've had about my newer work. I've just finished two works and am halfway through another. I'm also feeling like I need to make some decisions about the mural I started in my studio. It's still fantastic to make work everyday, even though it is getting pretty cold outside. Above are a couple drawings I've done from some photos I took of Joshua Tree National Park. It's nice to bring the desert energy here.
